01 / OVERVIEW
A smaller footprint. The same attention to control.
A compact monoblock platform with one to seven independently operated spools. A 37 mm spool pitch and flexible port options keep your hydraulic layout focused.
Source note. The four-spool source drawing lists G 3/8–G 1/2 at T; the other six drawings list G 1/2. Confirm the return-port option for KM50-4.
02 / DIMENSIONS & CONFIGURATIONS
Size the assembly.
Select a spool count to update the dimensions and drawing. All dimensions below are in millimetres and are taken from the source PDFs.
Dimensioned drawing · 3 spools | Construction | Monoblock |

| Overall height, with levers | 250 mm |
| Depth, as dimensioned | 180 mm |
| Body height, as dimensioned | 63.5 mm |

03 / PORT CONNECTIONS
Connect with confidence.
Use the port designation and threading callouts from the selected configuration. Alternative sizes indicate connection options; they are not interchangeable fittings.
Pressure inletG 3/8 or G 1/2
Tank returnG 1/2
Work portsG 3/8 or G 1/2
Each numbered A/B pair belongs to one spool. “Three spools” describes three controlled functions, not three total fluid connections. Follow the actual port labels on the selected assembly.
The source uses G-thread designations. Verify the selected thread, sealing arrangement and mating fitting against the physical valve and approved connection specification.
04 / OPERATING REFERENCE
Define the working envelope.
The following provisional profile uses Walvoil SD5 catalogue data as a technical reference, as requested. These values have not been verified by Komtes testing and must not be treated as a released Komtes pressure rating.
| Nominal flow · reference | 45 l/min |
|---|---|
| Maximum inlet pressure · reference | 315 bar |
| T back pressure · reference | 25 bar |
| Fluid temperature · reference | −20 to +80 °C · NBR |
| Operating viscosity · reference | 15–75 mm²/s |
| Reference fluid | Mineral-based hydraulic oil |
| Catalogue measurement condition | 46 mm²/s at 40 °C |
Maximum pressure for the parallel / tandem reference circuit. Series circuit: 250 bar. The reference family has the same 37 mm spool pitch. Similarity of construction does not establish identical performance or replacement compatibility. Confirm pressure, return-line limit, relief setting, seals and fluid conditions for the actual Komtes configuration.
05 / CONTROL & SPOOL OPTIONS
The right control behaviour.
Manual control
Manual lever assemblies, control covers and rubber dust boots are shown in the product drawings and photographs. The public model illustrates the assembled exterior.
Pneumatic components
The supplied KM50 and KM80 libraries include pneumatic control components. Confirm the available kit, pilot supply requirements and positioner with the selected valve.
Spool reference codes
The source CAD library includes STD, AK, AT, BK, BT and ABT spool labels, using historical KM45L or KM70L part names. Treat these as source identifiers. A code alone is not a verified hydraulic circuit diagram.
Specify the required neutral condition, single- or double-acting function, detent or spring return, and relief requirements using an approved hydraulic schematic. No competitor ordering code is presented as a Komtes part number.
06 / SELECTION CHECKLIST
Bring the system into focus.
- 01
Define the controlled functions.
Select 1–7 spools or sections and describe each actuator’s required behaviour.
- 02
Confirm the hydraulic circuit.
Identify pump type, flow requirement, neutral condition and any carry-over requirement. Confirm the actual operating envelope.
- 03
Check the interfaces.
Choose P, T and A/B port options. Review mounting points, overall dimensions and space for fittings and lever movement.
- 04
Release the configuration.
Agree the spool code, controls, relief setting, seal material and installation instructions before ordering.
